Families separated, children working, war begins. 

Indulge with abandon. Tomorrow we march.

An accident they say. They lie. 

Small kitten, wandering alone, forever found.

Weep. You failed to stop them. 

Rotten. Putrid. Fetid. Welcome home, Mother.

Lay down. Chin up. Mouton down!

Was this the only way? Sacrifice? 

All stories should teach. Yours lie.
